How Does WhichPayroll Make Money?

WhichPayroll is an independent comparison site. We earn a commission when you click affiliate links to providers and subsequently sign up for a paid plan. This has no effect on our editorial scores, rankings, or recommendations.

What Do We Do and Not Do?

• We do not sell placement. Providers cannot pay to appear higher in our rankings or receive a better review score.
• We disclose commercial relationships. Every review and comparison page carries a transparency notice identifying that commission may apply.
• We tag affiliate links. All outbound links to provider websites that may generate commission are marked with rel=sponsored per Google and IAB standards.
• We verify pricing independently. Rates are checked directly against provider pricing pages, not supplied by providers.

Which Providers Do We Have Affiliate Relationships With?

We have active affiliate arrangements with a subset of the 20+ providers we cover. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship does not determine whether a provider is included, excluded, or ranked in any position. Providers without affiliate arrangements are covered on the same editorial terms.

How Are Scores Calculated?

Provider scores use a standardised rubric across seven dimensions: onboarding speed, compliance depth, pricing transparency, integration breadth, support quality, contractor management capability, and owned-entity coverage. Scores are not adjusted for commercial reasons.

How Do We Keep Editorial Independence?

Providers do not review content before publication, have no approval rights over copy, and cannot request removal of negative findings.
